RICS Home Survey Level 2 - without Valuation

The RICS Home Survey Level 2 - without valuation is intended to provide advice for anyone purchasing a residential property. It includes a physical inspection of the property and provides a report based on that inspection.

The Home Survey Level 2 Survey without valuation will give you professional advice so you can:

  • Make a reasoned and informed decision on whether to go ahead with buying the property
  • Take into account any significant repairs or replacements the property needs
  • Consider what further advice you should take before committing to purchasing the property

RICS Home Survey Level 2 - Survey and Valuation

The RICS Home Survey Level 2 includes both survey and valuation elements within this service. It is intended to provide advice for anyone purchasing a residential property. It includes a physical inspection of the property with a report based on the findings, and includes a property valuation too.

The Home Survey Level 2 Survey and Valuation service will give you professional advice so you can:

  • Make an informed decision on what is a reasonable price to pay for the property
  • Make a reasoned and informed decision on whether to go ahead with buying the property

RICS Home Survey Level 3 Report

Our RICS Home Survey Level 3 includes a thorough physical inspection of the property and provides a detailed report based on that inspection.

The Home Survey Level 3 Report will give you professional advice, and within the report, this will help you:

  • Make a reasoned and informed decision when purchasing the property and identify any areas you may need to plan for when it comes to repairs, maintenance or upgrading the property
  • Understand the condition of the property, fully detailed
  • Describe the identifiable risk of potential or hidden defects
  • Propose the most probable cause(s) of the defects based on the inspection
  • Make recommendations as to any further actions or advice that needs to be obtained before committing to a purchase.

How do I obtain a survey?

You have a few options when it comes to booking a property survey. Through our teams, you can:

  • Book a survey with one of your local Sequence estate agents - find your nearest office.
  • If you are applying for a mortgage, your Mortgage Consultant will organise a survey to be carried out alongside the mortgage valuation.
